Residential HVAC Installer

**Responsibilities**

* Install, assemble, and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
* Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation.
* Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems and appliances.
* Conduct plumbing connections and ensure proper integration with HVAC components for optimal performance.
* Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and mechanical components for proper operation.
* Maintain accurate documentation of installation procedures, service reports, and system specifications.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations; operate equipment such as welding tools when necessary.

**Experience**

* Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician roles.
* Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
* Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems�including ammonia refrigeration�and appliance repair is highly desirable.
* Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, air conditioning units, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
* Field service experience working directly with customers in residential settings; excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
* Ability to operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment confidently.
* Valid driver�s license with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles is a plus.
