Landscape Laborer

**Duties**
* Assist with landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
* Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf to ensure healthy and attractive lawns
* Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote plant health and aesthetics
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and planting; operate equipment such as excavators when trained
* Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes
* Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
* Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and routine maintenance to uphold high standards of landscape presentation
**Experience**
* Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping activities such as mowing, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
* Basic mechanical knowledge helps in operating power tools and small equipment safely and effectively
* Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, pruning techniques, and soil preparation is advantageous
* Experience with construction or hardscape projects such as installing patios or walkways is a plus
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols is essential
* Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and land management
